The musician has opted to give the cash to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the crucial part grassroots venues had in his early career.
"I wouldn't be doing my current career if it hadn't been for all the performances I performed around the area, and further afield, when I was just getting going," stated the artist. "These spaces are renowned, but they are struggling."
Since the start of 2023, over 150 of these spaces have ceased operations – roughly 16 percent of the whole industry in the UK.
In the last year, top acts such as the band Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all supported the trust in its attempts to support the industry, by adding a small levy to their admission fees, which goes to help local stages.
Sam Fender also took part, raising over £100k on his 2024 arena tour to help thirty-eight grassroots venues across England, Scotland, and Wales.
The money helped venues that were confronting imminent closure due to challenges caused by floods, fire incidents and family tragedies, as well as regulatory hurdles, conflicts and sound issues.
Additional spaces obtained financial assistance in upgrading infrastructure and sound and lighting systems that helped artists and audiences.
"The idea that funds from shows in major spaces backs the smaller venues, where it all starts for musicians like me, is just sensible," Sam Fender has stated.
Fender is among several artists to contribute his honor funds to charitable organizations.

In the past week, the trust shared it had rescued several small stages in the South East, by transferring them to local control.
One venue in that area and the other in that location were acquired under the community ownership scheme, which is funded by Arts Council England and music fans who purchase "stakes" in the properties.
